Watermelon Popsicle Soap

Soap making is a popular craft, and we thought we'd put a cute little spin on this classic project by turning it into something we're all familiar with: popsicles! The layered coloring and shape of these soaps are perfect for displaying in bathrooms or the kitchen. All you need is your favorite popsicle mold and you can create different colored popsicle varieties to match different personalities. Carve out a bite in one of the popsicles and package them in baskets, twine, or ribbon to deliver a top notch gift!

Step-by-Step Tutorial

    Gather your materials.
  2. Image or video
Cut the soap into chunks and microwave them until they are melted. Add a few drops of red dye and the cucumber melon scent until you get the color and scent that you like.
  3. Image or video
Pour the red soap about 2/3 of the way into the popsicle molds. Place the lid over and a popsicle stick into the center of the mold. Any regular plastic popsicle mold will do. You can put the mold in the freezer for about 5 minutes to speed the process of hardening the soap.

Afterward, melt additional soap cubes without any dye. Fill popsicle mold about 1/3 of the remaining space.

Melt additional soap cubes and add green dye. Pour it into the remaining space of the popsicle mold.

Once all the layers are dry and hardened, gently loosen them from the mold, wiggling them back and forth and pulling gently on the popsicle stick.
