Decorative Chalkboard Signs

Chalkboard paint is everywhere right now, from small organizing labels to entire chalkboard walls. I like these cute decorative signs because they’re small enough to incorporate into almost any space, but large enough to write a menu or even an inspirational message. Hang them in your kitchen as decor items, or just bring them out as labels for your next get-together.

Image or video6DescriptionI find if you draw on freshly painted chalkboard paint, it can leave a permanent mark. To prevent this, lightly rub chalk over the entire surface, then wipe it off.
-
Image or video7DescriptionWrite your message on the sign with chalk or a chalkboard marker, then tie a loop of baker’s twine around the hoop to hang. I like to use tailor's chalk to write signs because the smaller size makes it easier to achieve better details. If you don’t want to hang it up, you could place a wooden block behind the sign to prop it up on a table.
