Confetti Star Balloons

I love how this easy DIY takes party balloons to the next level! These balloons add a lot of playfulness to any event, and are perfect for a birthday party or a baby shower. I went with classic gold glittery stars to match my Shining Star baby shower theme, but you could have fun with other confetti colors to match any theme you like.

Image or video2DescriptionBegin by preparing the strings for your balloons. For each balloon, cut two yards of your baker’s twine. Using a large star punch, punch two stars from your metallic paper and adhere them back-to-back at the end of the twine.
-
Image or video3DescriptionInflate your first balloon, and knot off the end. Using a foam brush or a small bristled brush, apply a small drop of glue to each gold star, and apply it to the surface of the balloon. Be gentle when placing and pressing the stars!
-
Image or video4DescriptionAdd as many stars to the surface of your balloon as you’d like. I found that 25 stars generally provided good coverage for larger balloons.
-
Image or video5DescriptionOnce your balloon is fully covered, knot the loose end of the baker’s twine to your balloon.
-
